Human Participants Review Board
The mission of the
Edgewood College Human Participants Review Board (HPRB) is to assure the
highest quality of research involving human participants conducted under
the auspices of the college. Edgewood College is committed to
following Federal Regulations for the protection of human research
participants. The HPRB’s primary function is to ensure protection of
human subjects through the review, approval, modification, or
disapproval of research applications submitted by faculty, staff, and
students. Any member of the Edgewood College community who is
involved in research with human participants must be in compliance,
regardless of the project or source of project funding.
The Human
Participants Review Board meets on a regular basis to review submitted
proposal forms.

When submitting the research proposal form and
all attached materials (including the Checklist for Preparing a
Human Participants Research Proposal) please submit 1 hard copy
and 1 electronic copy.
Place the hard copy in the HPRB Mailbox in DeRicci 124, and
send electronic copy to
HPRB@edgewood.edu.
